Kids Drums

kids drums are the very beginning of you little drummers musical career, there is a  wide selection of drums to choose from  in kids drums. If you look through these pages you will see every kind of drum available in every arrangement possible,there are drum-toms and single drums or more advanced setups for the more advanced drummers. Small child drumsets come in many different colors and you can get a 3 piece drumset  that is great to start your kids out when they are about 3 yrs old.

Many kids drums made today have plastic drum shells  and do not put out that classic sound like the big boys drums but you can buy kids drums with wood shells,these drums mimic what the big drums sound and feel like just on a smaller scale.  The perfect size  kids drums  set to start out with is about a 12" base drum ,atop of it a 8" cymbal with tomtom drum  and a snare  mounted each side of  the base drum. 

Options like tunable heads and adjustable hardware make things easier when you want to get good sound and the rhythm is hopping.

Experiment with different types of kids drums like steel drums, they make a happy sound and its easy to get the rhythm going so you might want to consider a steel drum if you have a few kids then you can let one play the drum while the others dance  now that entertainment.  I prefer kids bongo drums because it is so much fun playing the bongos, the sound can be added to nearly any type of arrangement  but no matter what kids drums you get your kids will love it.
